With this preparation, you can easily make a light, airy sponge cake, ideal for many types of cake. Simply add eggs and water to create an even, fluffy cake. The mixture is already delicately scented with vanilla, but you can also add lemon zest or a flavoring of your choice to enhance its taste.

With this sponge mix, you'll be able to create professional-quality cakes worthy of the finest patisseries. Each box contains 10 kg of product, providing you with enough preparation for several productions.

For preparation instructions, please refer to the quantity chart on the packaging. For recommended proportions and baking times. Preheat your oven to 175°C (or 160°C in convection mode) and make sure all ingredients are at room temperature. In a bowl, mix the mix, eggs and water at high speed for 7 to 8 minutes, then reduce speed and mix for a further 2 to 3 minutes. Pour the batter into a buttered cake tin, filling it halfway to two-thirds full. Place the cake in the oven and avoid opening the oven during baking. The cake is ready when its texture is elastic to the touch. Turn out immediately after baking and leave to cool on a cake rack.

Ingredients include sugar, wheat flour, wheat starch, emulsifiers (palm and turnip seed-based E472b, palm-based E477), raising agents (E500, E341, E450, E336), pyrophosphoric acid (E575), dehydrated glucose syrup, low-fat milk powder, salt, flavourings and thickener (E414). Please note that ingredients in bold may be allergens.
